Grand Master Ziaur Rahman finished 14th in the second Mumbai Mayor's Cup Open International Chess Tournament in Mumbai, India yesterday.
GM Niaz Murshed became 23rd in the meet.
In the last round matches, Zia beat IM Sudhakar Babu of India and Niaz beat Saurabh Kherdekar of India.
A total of 415 players including 22 Grand Masters, 21 International Masters from several countries participated in the event.
