Abdullah-Al-Fahad, a young student from Mohammadpur Central College, will make a little piece of history on 8th June, when he bowls to Indian legend Dilip Vengsarkar in front of millions of viewers around the globe.
Abdullah won the Pepsi First Baller Captain competition launched by Transcom Beverages Ltd in Bangladesh and thereby won himself the chance to bowl the first ceremonial ball before the Bangladesh-Ireland encounter at the World T20 at Trent Bridge.
Aside from that honour, Abdullah will enjoy an all expenses trip courtesy of Transcom where he will enjoy the T20 World Cup as a first hand viewer.
